Last competition day

The last competition day of the 2025 World Gliding Championships brought one final challenge for the pilots: 3-hour AAT tasks in mostly blue conditions, with only a sparse 1/8 coverage of cumulus clouds. Despite the tricky soaring conditions, the atmosphere was full of focus and determination as pilots launched for their final flights of the event.

While the day demanded careful strategy and patience, we’re delighted to report that all competitors returned safely, whether by air or by retrieve crews on the road. Pilot safety has always been our highest priority, and today was a successful conclusion in that regard.

With the final flights completed, congratulations go to everyone who made it around the course and to all teams and pilots for their spirit and perseverance throughout the competition. Now, with flying behind us, it’s time to celebrate together at tonight’s farewell party—a well-deserved moment to reflect, relax, and enjoy! Congratulations our daily winners!

Poslední soutěžní den

Poslední soutěžní den na Mistrovství Světa v plachtění 2025 přinesl pilotům poslední výzvu: tříhodinové tratě AAT v převážně modrých podmínkách, pouze s řídkou 1/8 oblačnosti s kupovitou oblačností. Navzdory ošemetným podmínkám byla atmosféra plná soustředění a odhodlání, když piloti startovali ke svým posledním letům soutěže.

Přestože den vyžadoval pečlivou strategii a trpělivost, s potěšením můžeme oznámit, že se všichni soutěžící vrátili v pořádku, ať už letecky, nebo po zemi. Bezpečnost pilotů byla vždy naší nejvyšší prioritou a dnešek byl v tomto ohledu úspěšným závěrem.

Po dokončení závěrečných letů blahopřejeme všem, kteří trať zvládli, a všem týmům a pilotům za jejich vytrvalost v průběhu celé soutěže. Nyní, když je létání za námi, je čas na společnou oslavu na dnešním večírku na rozloučenou – zaslouženou chvíli k zamyšlení, odpočinku a zábavě! Gratulujeme našim denním vítězům!
