Sixth Competition Day

After a well-earned rest day yesterday, we hope everyone returned to the grid refreshed and recharged—whether you spent your time exploring Czechia, playing sports, or simply relaxing. The sixth competition day brought renewed energy and a fascinating mix of weather conditions.

Although the soaring conditions started late, they quickly developed into an exciting day with the approach of a cold front and distant thunderstorms. Most of the flying, however, took place under blue skies, with thermal heights reaching up to 2000 meters AGL. The strong sun and warm air made it a tough day on the ground too—we sincerely hope no one suffered a heatstroke, and we promise that cooler, better weather is on the way!

In the Club Class, we saw a refreshing change on the leaderboard, with the Italian team sweeping the top two places—a great result after consistent French and German dominance. Congratulations to all our winners!

Šestý soutěžní den

Doufáme, že po včerejším zaslouženém odpočinkovém dni se všichni vrátili na letiště odpočatí a nabití energií – ať už strávili čas poznáváním Česka, sportem, nebo jen odpočinkem. Šestý soutěžní den přinesl novou energii a fascinující směsici povětrnostních podmínek.

Ačkoli počasí začalo pozdě, s příchodem studené fronty a vzdálených bouřek se rychle vyvinulo ve velmi vzrušující. Většina létání však probíhala v čisté, přičemž termika dosahovala až 2000 metrů AGL. Silné slunce a teplý vzduch způsobily, že den byl náročný i na zemi – upřímně doufáme, že nikdo neutrpěl úpal, a slibujeme, že chladnější a lepší počasí je na cestě!

V klubové třídě jsme byli svědky osvěžující změny na čele žebříčku, když italský tým obsadil první dvě místa – skvělý výsledek po soustavné dominanci Francouzů a Němců. Všem našim vítězům gratulujeme!
